ANDREW DOYLE
Andrew Doyle founded Doyle Wilson in 1984 in Goondiwindi, the centre of the fertile McIntyre river valley on the border of Queensland and New South Wales. Here he developed a successful legal practice based on agribusiness and all areas of law which were required by people and businesses in that regional setting.
Joined by his partner Lachlan Wilson in 1993 the practice expanded, opening an office in the central business district of Sydney in 2003.
Andrew has a rural background and grew up on commercial farming and grazing property in the Upper Hunter, and before studying law, worked in rural and fishing industries.
Andrew has worked with businesses and acted in consulting roles to company boards across a range of industries not only agriculture, including successful startups and small to medium enterprises (SME’s).
Although living in Sydney Andrew regularly visits the Goondiwindi office.
Andrew specialises in commercial, rural property, and succession law.

LACHLAN WILSON
Lachlan Wilson joined Doyle Wilson in 1993 as partner.
Lachlan predominately advises on commercial and property law in Queensland and New South Wales.
Lachlan grew up on a wheat property between Goondiwindi and Moree and knows the problems and issues facing rural communities and properties first hand. Lachlan has also worked in a number of rural legal practices in both Queensland and New South Wales where he has gained valuable experience on rural legal issues, which enables him to provide clients with practical advice.
He has 20 years of experience in litigation. Lachlan’s litigation skills and experience were illustrated in a case where he obtained a $3 million settlement for a child plaintiff whose claim had previously been rejected by two other legal firms. Lachlan’s litigation experience ranges from successfully prosecuting spray drift damages claims involving cotton growers, to successfully resolving contractual and property disputes.
Lachlan is married and has three children. In his younger days Lachlan played Rugby Union.

BRONWEN CURTIS
Prior to her admission as a lawyer, Bronwen worked at the Law Council of Australia in the Family Law section for seven years. This gave Bronwen valuable experience in legislative change and procedural reforms in Family Law.
Bronwen practices exclusively in Family Law and has worked in leading or pre-eminent family law firms in both Queensland and New South Wales. She has extensive experience in complex property and parenting matters, including property division, sensitive and high conflict parenting matters, child support disputes and international family law issues.
Bronwen has a particular interest in complex property cases involving businesses, corporate structures and valuation issues. She provides her clients with an innovative, sensible and realistic approach to the resolution of their matters and approaches all cases with the aim of achieving an early resolution. When a matter cannot be resolved, Bronwen assists her clients with exceptional skills in advocacy and trial work.

Rachel Gleeson
Rachel has a Bachelor of Law from the University of New England. She completed her practical legal training at Doyle Wilson in 2017 and was admitted in to legal profession in January 2018.
Originally from Warwick, Rachel and her family moved to Goondiwindi in April 2015.
She has more than eight years experience working for the Department of Education and Training in Brisbane where she gained a wealth of knowledge in corporate governance and reporting.

Samantha Holcombe
Sam grew up on a sheep, cattle and dry land farming property near Burren Junction in North West New South Wales.
Sam has a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the University of New England. She completed her Practical Legal Training at Doyle Wilson Solicitors in 2019.
Sam is an avid member of the Goondiwindi community. She plays netball in Goondiwindi and Inglewood, cricket for the Yetman Yabbies and is a member of the Macintyre Club.

Hayley Matchett
Hayley is a paralegal in our property section and mainly works in Queensland and New South Wales residential conveyancing. Her extensive knowledge as a property paralegal allows her to assist clients when they are buying and selling homes and land. She also assists our Lawyers with the conduct of rural and commercial property matters.
Hayley was born in Bundaberg but is a long-time Goondiwindi resident. Hayley is married to Shane and they have two beautiful children together, Max and Edie.
Hayley has a Certificate III in Business Administration. She was also appointed as a Commissioner for Declarations in 2011.

Nicole Fisher
Nicole joined Doyle Wilson in 2009 to manage the accounting and financial aspects of the business. She has extensive accounts experience which includes 9 years with the Commonwealth Bank, of which 3 years was spent as a Home Loan Specialist and 6 years as a Customer Service Specialist. This significant financial experience is of great benefit to the firm’s effective management.
To further her administrative skills Nicole completed Certificate III in Administration.

Kathryn Bourchier
Kathryn has many years’ experience with Doyle Wilson Solicitors, moving around the office as Receptionist, Legal Secretary and Conveyancing Clerk.
Kathryn has completed her Office Administration Certificates I and II, and III. Kathryn is also a Commissioner for Declarations.

Rebekah Sullivan
Rebekah is our Receptionist and Secretary to the firm’s Directors, Andrew Doyle and Lachlan Wilson. Rebekah has a critical role within our firm and was appointed as a Commissioner for Declarations in 2012.
Rebekah has experience in conveyancing as well as assisting the Directors and other solicitors in all areas of law. Rebekah enjoys liaising with clients and Counsel.
Originally from Perth, Rebekah has family ties in Goondiwindi and moved here permanently in 2009. Rebekah is now settled in Goondiwindi and lives with her partner and their staffy, Jazz.
